What happend this week..
11/07/08 The season is official over for Dana and Adam. The summer ended with
a strong run by Dana with a third place finish after running in the lead for a majority of the feature. Adam had a great run
in the season ending 50lap feature with a second place. Dana finished in 8th place in points after a disappointing end to
Agust with two parts failures that had him finishing at the back of the field. Adam finished in 7th in points after consistently
running up front in his features. The team is in the process of tearing down the cars and beginning to rebuild for next year.
Adam will be changing engines and tires for next year with the same chassis. Dana and his Dad will be very busy this off season
with changes to the rules allowing a different rear end assembly. This winter will go much better with the car intact and
simply upgrading instead of replacing a bent chassis.
We have to thank our Sponsors this past season for all there help and financial support that
made the season possible. Thanks to Arnie at A&M Autorepair in Guilford,
VT for the use of his shop and the help with a vehicle to tow one of the campers to Thompson. Thanks to Brattleboro Mobile
at Exit 3 for the financial support to keep tires on the car . Thanks to Jeremy at Vernon Towing and Autobody in Vernon
for painting the cars this past season, everyone liked the design.
We ended the season this year again at the World Series in Thompson, Ct with a great run in
the primary car. Lap times where the fastest Dana has ever had at thompson and all the adjustments his father made to the
car made the lap times quicker. Dana went to Twin State Speedway to end the season with the Fall Challenge. The car was a
little under powered for the division but still competitive. The car finished in 11th and still running. The weekend a great
way to end the season.
Have to thank Dana's Dad for a long hard season filled with very little sleep and long days
at the track. All the way up to the final race at Twin State Charlie went from the track to work back to the track. And to
thank Mark Adams Dad for all the work on the kart to keep Adam running when Dana couldn't be there and to have the kart ready
every weekend. The results showed in the cars finishes.
